The Saudi-led airstrikes have killed 4.602 Yemeni civilians including 1.109 children and 865 women, the Yemeni civil alliance for documenting crimes committed by the Arab military coalition said on Saturday.
During the 150 days since the airstrikes began, the coalition has injured 11.652 civilians including 929 children and 1.045 women, the Saba news agency quoted a report by the alliance as saying.
The coalition has been bombing the Houthi militants and forces loyal to the former president that ousted the government since late March. It has carried out more than 16.000 raids that also destroyed many civil infrastructures, the report added.
International rights and humanitarian organizations have accused the coalition as well as the pro- and anti-government forces of violating the laws of war and attacks killing many civilians that may mount to war crimes.
Moreover, organizations have urged a commission to investigate the alleged laws-of-war violations and an immediate end to the coalition-imposed blockade on all Yemeni sea, land and air routes.
The blockade, aimed at monitoring Yemeni routes in order to ensure no support primarily weapons reach the militants, has been deepening the humanitarian crisis.
Warnings are growing about an imminent famine of millions as the government and agencies confirmed that the conflict and the blockade have left around 80% of Yemen's population in need of emergency aid.
The people have been suffering of lacks of food, medicines and fuels as well as power outages around the clock for months.
