Turkey has frozen assets of Yemeni former president and aides as well as Houthi leaders, Turkish media reported.
The decision on Friday came within Turkey's commitment to UN sanctions on Yemeni former officials including president Saleh and Houthi militants involved in ousting the transition government, the reports said.
The assets targeted by Turkey included those of the son of former president, Ahmed Saleh, and leader of the Houthi militant group, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, his brother Abdulkhalik and Houthi field leader Abdullah Yahya Al-Hakeem.
In April, the UN Security Council extended sanctions on Yemeni former officials and Houthi militants that were approved in late 2014.
Several countries topped by the US and EU members have already frozen the assets of the Yemeni figures accused of undermining the UN-backed political process and ousting the government.
Moreover, the Council issued resolutions on Yemen including the resolution 2216 which called on the Houthis to cede power, return weapons and evacuate from cities seized after the coup and stop threatening neighbors of Yemen.
The coup sparked a civil war early in 2015 and Saudi-led military intervention in late March.
