Civilians including children were killed and injured after Houthi militants fired a rocket on their car in Yemen's port city of Aden, local sources said on Tuesday.
Militants stationed at a Houthi checkpoint attacked the victims while they were driving on the highway leading the Fryoush district, they said.
In this district, Houthis have been detaining many vegetables traders preventing them from reaching the people as part of a months-long siege around Aden.
Hundreds of thousands of families in the city are in dire need for help because of the months-long violence and siege.
Separately, clashes between pro-government and pro-Houthi forces continued in the Mimlah district, local sources said, while adding that heavy weapons were used in the fighting.
In recent days, the pro-government forces beat Houthis and advanced on key frontlines.
In Hodeida, eyewitnesses said Houthi militants killed a civilian after an argument he had with them at a fuel station.
Several civilians were killed after Houthis shelled populated areas in Taiz today as well.
Meanwhile, confrontations between pro-government and pro-Houthi forces continued in several cities.
In Marib, commander of the third military command told a Saudi newspaper they control most parts of the city and that they need more weapons and munitions to clear it from all Houthis.
The Houthis have been weakened and their morale is very low after the pro-government forces fought and preventing them from infiltrating and taking over Marib, Abdulrab Al-Shadadi told the paper.
