A US drone strike against suspected militants in Yemen's Mareb province was conducted early Thursday morning.

The strike is the 2nd within 24 hours in Yemen. Casualties are still unknown.
Wednesday morning, two drone strikes killed six suspected Al Qaeda militants in the southern province of Shabwa . Both vehicles targeted in the strike were burnt and only one of the killed has been identified, Sarhan al-Thamlaqi, who was not on the government's wanted list. At least seven missiles were launched because the first four missed their target.
