Two US drone strikes killed four suspected al-Qeada militants Tuesday morning in Yemen's Mareb province, multiple security sources confirmed.
Among the killed was an al-Qaeda leader, two local security officials said.
The officials told Yemen Post that first strike targeted a vehicle four militants were aboard in Wadi Abeedah district, while the other targeted a militant hideout not far away in the same province.
The two strikes raises the total number of drone strikes in Yemen during the month of August to six.
