Felix Airways launched its regional flights to Sharjah and Djibouti earlier this week. A massive ceremony was held in Sharjah International Airport for launching the regional flights of Felix Airways from Aden and Al-Rayan airports to Sharjah.
At the ceremony the executive director of Felix Airways, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Erashah delivered a speech expressing happiness for launching the first direct flight that connects Yemen to Sharjah of United Arab Emirates. He added that this move came in interpretation for the leaderships of the two countries concern on promoting commercial exchange and tourism between Yemen and United Arab Emirates.
Al-Erashah said that initially two flights weekly will be carried out from Yemen to Sharjah, hoping to increase the number of flights in the near future; pointing out that Yemen has a wide range of investment opportunities.
The ceremony was attended by Yemeni Vice-consul to Dubai Abdul Hameed Al-Saba’i, Aden Airport and Al-Rayan Airport directors, a number of Al-Sharjah International Airport authority members and a group of journalists from both countries.
