The Yemeni authorities are investigating a citizen who has been working as a diplomat at the Yemeni embassy in Saudi Arabia with fake documents for a year.
The man is said to have forged the signatures of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and the GCC Secretary General Abdul Rahman Al-Attiyah to get the position of a Yemeni-Saudi relation coordinator at the embassy in Riyadh.
When authorities knew about him, he was summoned to the capital, Sana'a, and informed that he would arrive in the country to do some responsibilities.
But as he landed in the Sana'a International Airport, police seized him.
Over the year, the unappointed diplomat lied on the Yemeni people in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, telling them that he could serve them.
He misled Yemenis that he had strong ties with security authorities in homeland to deceive them and get personal interests.
