At least four civilians were wounded in Aden, including a woman, during a protest that took place in Aden on Wednesday.
The protesters took to the streets in Mansora district, trying to stop security forces from arresting political activists, who authorities accused of being behind the call for the Day of Rage.
Private sources said that civilians chanted anti-government slogans, set tires on fire, and blocked several roads.
In return, security forces used tear gas and gun fire to disperse the protesters before they arrested a few members of Sothern Movement during the protest.
Yesterday, military reinforcements deployed to Aden in an attempt to stop protesters from holding anti-government demonstrations after tens of youths belonging to Sothern Movement called for the Day of Rage to be held next Friday in Aden.
