Houthis Shiite rebels have killed two people and injured three others in Manabah district of Sa'ada province, official media reported on Saturday.
The Houthi fighters attacked a back-government clan's vehicle, killing two clans and injured three others, the source said, adding that the three bodies of the dead back-government clans were taken off to the mountains occupied by Houthis.
Following the attack, numerous people have seen fire everywhere in the area and some people from back-government clans vowed to take revenge on Houthis, the source said. "We will target their vehicles as we knew their vehicle was holding up a Hezbollah flag."
The source, further, cited people from the region as saying authorities need to learn from past mistakes to better protect residents from Houthis' intermittent attacks.
Officials have already issued statement condemning the attack, something it says Houthi rebels were seeking less-bitter ways to end conflicts.
It also said that the Yemeni government and Houthis had agreed to send delegations to Doha in the coming days to sign a minutes over the 2007 Doha-brokered peace deal between the two sides.
Apparently, Yemeni officials have sounded unusually confident notes in recent days, hinting that Houthis are trying to break the fragile truce signed between Houthis and the Yemeni government.
