Police have arrested three Al-Qaeda suspects after they were taken to a hospital in the northern province of Amran, according the Interior Ministry's website.
4 other people were also arrested in connection with attempting to sheltering the suspected terrorists.
The arrests took place amid semi-daily crackdown on Al-Qaeda across the republic to prevent resurgence of the global terrorist network. The hospital is said located in the Raida district.
The three were wounded after more recent specific security operation in which anti-terror troops tried to arrest an Al-Qaeda leader in Arhab north of Sana'a. Two suspected terrorists were killed in the operation.
They were of the bodyguards of Muhammad Ahmed Al-Haniq, a terrorist leader who was located in the area raided weeks ago when more than 10 terrorist suspects were arrested.
Authorities have renewed warning against sheltering terrorists, saying violators would be punished.
Yemeni authorities have recently launched several operations on Al-Qaeda hideouts and training sites, killing and arresting scores of suspects.
Few Weeks ago, about 64 suspected Al-Qaeda elements were killed and other 29 arrested in the north and south, during successful raids hailed by regional and international allies of Yemen and domestically criticized after dozens of civilians were reported among the casualties.
