Seven Yemeni forces were murdered and several injured or captured in clashes between security forces and Al-Houthi followers in Al Khamees district in Sa’ada governorate.
Sources attributed that the conflict erupted when Al-Houthi followers attacked army bases in Sa’ada trying to stop military campaigns towards some cities in the governorate.
Sources said that Al-Houthi followers damaged one tank and some military equipment during the clashes between both sides.
Earlier this week, an army colonel, Aidros Al-Sabri was murdered and two of his bodyguards were wounded in an armed attack in Sa’ada governorate, when Houthi followers in Al-Kabil district ambushed the colonel and his guards while they were driving to Sana’a governorate.
Last week, ten people were killed in Al-Jawf governorate in conflict between two groups who represented Al-Houthi followers and Islah party in the governorate.
The cause of the conflict between them goes back to who will take control of a mosque in Zahra district.
