Yemeni President Abdu Rabu Masnour Hadi said that political forces, society factions, civil society organizations, and all components of Yemeni community spectrum with no exception are all invited to take part in the upcoming national dialogue to be held soon in line with the GCC-brokered power transfer deal signed in the Saudi capital of Riyadh in November last year.
His speech came during his meeting with the ambassadors of the ten states sponsoring the national dialogue as they continue to oversee the process of implementing the second phase of the GCC-accord in which national dialogue and restructuring the army are the main terms.
The ten nations who are sponsoring the upcoming national dialogue are Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, UAE, UE, US, Chine, Russia, UK, and France.
During the meeting Hadi discussed with the ambassadors how to interpret the terms of the settlement on the ground in light with the latest development in the political, economical, and security fields.
They also reviewed a range of topics related to the parties' reaction towards the implementation of the terms of the second deal, most importantly the participation in the national dialogue and restructuring the army.
Some of the ambassadors put forward some suggestions to help facilitate obstacles face the implementation of the deal.
At the end of the meeting, Hadi has thanked the ambassadors for their efforts aimed to help Yemen exit the current difficult situation.
The Pro-secession Southern Movement yesterday set conditions for taking part in the national dialogue. It said the occupied army (Yemeni army) must pull its forces from the south ahead of the meeting and that the negotiations should be held in a third country, considering the south and north of Yemen two separate states.
