Confrontations between the pro-government and pro-Houthi forces continued in several Yemeni cities on Saturday.
Many from both sides have been killed and injured mostly Houthis.
Sources in Baidha said the pro-government forces advanced on all war fronts taking key positions from the Houthis including the Jamajim Mountain in the district of Al-Zahir.
In Taiz, locals said the Wadi Al-Dhabab has seen fierce battles in the past 24 hours and that the Houthis shelled populated areas after the pro-government forces repelled their attack killing many of them.
In Dhali where the Houthis have been trying to retake positions they had lost, sources within the pro-government forces affirmed several Houthis were killed in clashes in the district of Sanah. The Houthis were driven out of Dhali several weeks ago after bloody battles with the pro-government forces.
In Hodeida and Shabwa, pro-government forces ambushed Houthi patrols killing more than a dozen in both cities.
Yemen has been experiencing a months-long war which was sparked by the ouster of the UN-backed transition government by the Houthis.
The ouster triggered a Saudi-led military intervention in late March which has apparently added to the crisis instead of solving it.
