The Houthi delegates left Sunday to Geneva for UN-sponsored talks with the Yemeni government which is staying in Saudi Arabia.
Spokesperson for the Houthi Group, Mohammed Abdulsalam, confirmed in a statement on his Facebook page that their delegation and representatives of other factions have already left for the talks.
"The Houthi delegation's departure happened after we got clarification from the UN envoy to Yemen about factions which should attend the talks," he elaborated.
Earlier today, the UN confirmed that the talks will be kicked off on Monday.
They will be focused on finding mechanisms to implement the UN resolution No.2216 as part of the solution to the post-Houthi takeover crisis.
The resolution calls on the Houthi militants to cede power, withdraw from cities, return state weapons and stop violence.
The militants tightened their grip on power in January after ousting the transition government in September.
The takeover sparked a civil war which has put the country on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe.
Around 20 million, 80% of Yemen's population, have been affected by the conflict and need emergency aid.
