Two members of the Technical Dialogue Committee, Majed al-Madhaji and Radhia al-Mutawkil, suspended on Sunday their membership in protest at what they called "deprivation of discussing representation in the National Dialogue Conference."
Well-informed sources said they took the suspension decision with the attendance of the UN Envoy Jamal Benomar, pointing out they threatened to completely withdraw from the committee it continues in such acts.
Yemeni politicians are pining hopes on the National Dialogue Conference to solve Yemen's problems including the southern case and Saada.
Yemen suffers from economic, political and security crises, in particular after the breakout of the Yemeni uprising that forced the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down.
International and regional efforts are exerted to persuade all Yemeni groups and functions to take part in the dialogue, but some groups of the southern movement still refuse the participation.
The former vice president Ali Salem Al-Beidh calls for secession, but other southern leaders warn that the separation of South Yemen will inflame sectarian wars in the north and regional wars in the south.
Yemeni sources had anticipated that the dialogue conference will be held in December and that about 565 participators will take part in the conference.
The technical dialogue committee spelt out the dialogue has no ceiling or pre-conditions, asserting that the dialogue will take Yemen to stability and security and building up of the civil state.
