The spokesman of the Saada-based Houthi group Mohammad al-Bokhaiti has said that the US Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein is not a friend of Yemenis, holding him responsible for killing of hundreds of Yemenis with unmanned drones.
In remarks to UPI, he described the US policies as brutal, pointing out that thousands of Yemenis were killed by the United States in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine.
He cautioned against any US offensives against Iran, emphasizing that such acts will leave millions of people killed and wound and plunge the region into disasters.
He denied that the slogan used by the Houthi group calls for the killing of Americans, singling out that the slogan is symbol of rejects US policies.
The main slogan of the Houthi group is "God is Great, Death to America, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews."
The group has threatened to respond to any US strikes in the wake of a US drone that killed four Al-Qaeda suspects in Saada early of November.
A senior leader of the group, Dhaifallah al-Shami, stressed that the group will use any "permissible means" in case the group was targeted by the United States, pointing out that the US drone targeted a training camp of al-Qaeda in Saada.
The group dubbed the attack as a US vicious campaign against the Yemeni people, stressing that the US aims at domination on Yemeni land and looting its resources.
It further accused the interim government of allowing the US air forces to commit crimes in Yemen and give it political cover to continue its strikes
