Two days after their father called his family from Cuba where he has been detained at Guantanamo since 2002, two sons of Yemeni Gitmo detainee Abdul Salam Ali Al-Hila were killed on Wednesday as a bomb blew up at their house in Sana'a.

A source close to the family of Al-Hila said the two young boys Omer and Yousef, aged 10 and 11, died after the bomb they were playing with went off at the family house located at the Sana'a-Mareb road street.

However, the source did not give any further details.

Abdul Salaam Al-Hilah, a Yemeni businessman arrested by US forces in 2002 claims he was kidnapped while on a business trip in Egypt.

He has been reported missing for eight months until the US said he was taken to Guantanamo.

The 34-year old married father of four has given a testimony about his alleged kidnap by the US agency four years ago to Amnesty, the international human rights watchdog.

He called his family two days ago from Guantanamo asking after them. Early this year, Yemeni prisoners including Al-Hila went on a long hunger strike at the US jail in Cuba until US officials said Al-Hila's health has been deteriorating.

The prison officials forced the Yemeni inmates to eat through tubes.
