Forces of the 21 Mechanized Brigade in Shabwah governorate have managed to arrest an Al-Qaeda suicide bomber before detonating himself inside a mosque of a military camp.

Sources said that the bomber entered through the main gate of the military camp, affirming that some soldiers colluded with the bomber.

A military source of the Defense ministry said that a person in plain clothes infiltrated to a military camp, pointing out that a bomb was detected his hand bag after being inspected.

A Yemeni analyst Mustafa Abdu said that al-Qaeda tries to retaliate against the Yemeni army after its militants were dislodged of its main strongholds in southern governorate.

A number of Yemeni cities including the capital Sana'a witnesses loose security as explosions and suicide bombings remarkably increased.

A suicide bombing killed at least 45 people and wounded dozens more in a deadliest attack that targeted a rally of the local resistance committees that backed the Yemeni army in Jaar of Abyan governorate.

Local officials of Abyan governorate demanded the government to promptly send security reinforcements to Abyan, pointing out that Al-Qaeda seeks to regain some areas of the governorate.

President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi has recnely ordered ministers of defense and interior to send military and security reinforcements to Abyan, sources of presidency said on Thursday.

The sources told al-Khaleej Newspaper that the Hadi's directions came after Ansar Al-Shariah, an al-Qaeda-linked group, tried on Wednesday to retake control on some areas that they were dislodged of in June.
