The national dialogue conference that was set to be held in the up-coming November will be delayed due to differences between forces of Yemen's political arenas , an Emirati newspaper, Al-Khaleej, quoted Yemeni politicians.
Al-Khaleej said that there are complications and challenges that make it difficult to hold the conference on its time.
The first meeting of the technical committee was put off last week, but well-informed sources said the meeting will be held when Abdul-Karim Al-Iryani comes back from abroad.
Leaders of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) had criticized the committee, pointing out that some parties were not included sufficiently.
However, head of the Islah party, a main Yemeni party of JMP alliance, told Suhail TV on Friday that JMP accept the committee.
Senior leaders of the JMP threatened that they will boycott the dialogue in case the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh or his son Ahmed take part in the dialogue.
President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi issued on July 14 a decree of forming the technical committee of dialogue that included 25 members of Yemen's various political factions.
The decree outlined the committee's duties, the dialogue themes and the expected results and set the September 30th as the deadline for the committee to accomplish its job and deliver its recommendations.
UN Envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar had affirmed that the dialogue-preparation committee will be tasked with carrying out consultations and preparations to hold the dialogue conference in Next November.
The dialogue conference is an article of the power transfer deal mediated by the GCC states that posed the base to force the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh to cede power.
