Yemen's President Abdrabu Mansour Hadi has given the security systems a 72-hour deadline to release all people who have been detained in connection with the popular uprising and all extrajudicial detainees, Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper reported on Thursday.
The Military Committee said Wednesday suitable measures have been taken over the issue of the detainees in connection with the popular uprising, which erupted in early 2011, but it did not give details.
