Ten Saudis were killed in the southern Abyan province while fighting alongside al-Qaeda since Friday, two senior security officials said.

The officials said three Somalis were also killed as government intensifies its assault on al-Qaeda hideouts.

The Defense Ministry announced that troops have taken over four key military positions in the province, while more than a dozen air strikes hit areas controlled by the militant groups.
