Government attacks continued in Taiz Saturday morning resulting in the death of one civilian.
Two others were injured as republican guards attacked residential areas.
Eyewitnesses said that government forces stationed themselves on Gamal Street, one of the largest in Taiz.
The attacks continued for three hours and also resulted in the damage of more than 45 houses.
Two days ago, government forces stopped attacks in the province after reaching agreements with different factions.
Residents are worried that attacks against them will continue during the Islamic Eid holiday which starts on Sunday.
Taiz was one of the first cities in Yemen that protested against President Saleh's regime demanding his ouster.
