Two civilians were killed and three injured after government forces bombarded residential areas in northern regions of Taiz. Two of the injured are children and one of them is in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses said that the government plane was targeting residence of those tribes who opposed it and supported the revolution against President Saleh’s regime.
The pro democracy youth in Taiz freedom square condemned the attack and called on the international community to stop the attacks of the regime against unarmed civilians.
Taiz has been out of government control over since May, and governmental forces have been clashing with pro revolution tribesmen for the last month.
At least 45 people were killed in July in ongoing clashes.
