Two civilians were killed and others injured when the republican guard continued to shell villages in Nihm district on the outskirts of Yemen's capital Sana'a.
Republican guards stationed in Arhab, an adjacent district to Nihm, shelled villages in the two districts leading to the casualties and damages to homes and other properties of the people, locals said.
The army used heavy weapons to attack villages for several hours, with farms, water wells and medical teams and equipment badly affected, they said, adding that four medics were also killed in the raids.
