Coalitions of activist-led proteters outside Sana'a University in Yemen's capital Sana'a criticized on Sunday the transiational council formed the prior day by the youth-led revolution council, with some saying the move was taken without delibrations with all protesters in all Yemeni cities.
Ahmed Saif Hashid, a former MP and head of the Civil Coalition of Youth Revolution, said they had no idea about the formation of the council. "In fact, we never criticize the council or ites members, rather we are protesting the way the council was formed," he told the Yemen Post.
"Still, we should discuss every thing related to the council including the personalities selected as its members," he said.
The protesters inside the squares of change and freedom in Yemeni cities should have the final word toward every step taken durign this crucial turning point in Yemen's history, he said, making it clear that no single group or coalition at any square does not have the right to take a tiny aunilateral step regarding the country's future.
On Saturday, the perparatory committee of the youth-led revolution council announced the formation of an interim council to manage Yemen, saying the move was based on the responsibility towards home at this moment .
It added that the move came because the Saleh regime was ousted forever.
The transitional council comprised of 17 memebrs including a former president and an opposition figure outside Yemen as well as a commander in chief of the armed forces and president of the supreme judicial council.
