The organizational committee of the youth revolution revealed on Saturday a plan to oust the Saleh regime peacefully and according to the suitable circumstances.
Radhwan Masoud, a member in the committee, said in a news conference that the plan was focused on escalating the antigovernment protests through peaceful ways but the details will be revealed later. "Due to security reasons, we will announce the details on time," he said.
Another member said that the youths rejected the U.S. position towards the peaceful uprising in Yemen. Ali Al-Emad said that the U.S. announcement which urged the Yemeni people to avoid provocative demonstrations and speeches was interference in Yemen's own affairs. " As if the announcement aimed to deprive us some of our rights and it was really seen as an unacceptable interference in the Yemeni affairs," he made it clear.
If the U.S. wanted to support our uprising, it would strongly condemn the deliberate killing of the protesters, who did nothing just walked seeking change as in other countries, he said.
"But instead, the U.S. mission in Sana'a said it was disturbed and described our demonstration as provocative and that was not true. The pro-government forces and bullies fired live bullets at and snipped the demonstrators on Wednesday directly and this was a serous crime," he said.
The announcement comes as President Saleh is set to sing in person an agreement for implementing the GCC plan for power transition with the opposition, after the plan had officially been accepted by both sides.
The GCC Secretary General is expected to arrive in Yemen today and then delegations from the ruling and opposition parties will head to Riyadh to finalize the agreement backed by the West.
