At least two protesters were killed and eight others injured during clashes that took place between pro and anti-government protesters in Yemen's capital, Sana'a.
Sources said that clashes erupted between anti-regime protesters and pro-government protesters last night when they started throwing stones at each other.
Anti Goverment protesters said the gunmen were pro-government supporters. The Yemeni government denies any connection to the armed men.
Medics said that Tuesday night's attack on the protest camp near Sana'a University wounded 11 people, and not the eight announced.
Yemen's Organization for Human Rights also gave different casualty figures, saying two protesters were killed and 18 wounded.
