At least four more Arab regimes are expected to fall in the coming period as the Arab people are uprising in several countries in the aftermath of the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions, Yemen's ambassador to Egypt said on Wednesday.
On the sidelines of the exceptional meeting of permanent representatives to the Arab League Council, Abdul Wali Al-Shamir, told reporters: "I am confident the change stream will quickly sweep through Arab countries because the people are ready for revolution and change".
Suggesting removed regimes and presidents should be saluted, the envoy said change will be better without violence because change is 'the mode of life'.
Furthermore, he called on wise Arab regimes to move in the right direction before the people force them to do that.
"The Arab summits have never served the people, and if meetings can lead to change, the people demanding changes and regimes to stand down will not take to the streets," Al-Shamiri said, as he highlighted skepticism on the possibility of holding the next Arab summit.
