President Saleh earlier announced that he is ready to have a live televised debate with the opposition to prove that they are not fit to rule and that their agenda is not complete.

He added that before any dialogue takes place their needs to be guarantees from the ruling party that they will cancel all previous procedures they passed when dialogue was frozen.
Yemen has witnessed massive protests over the last two weeks demanding Saleh for reforms or to step down from rule.
