Sources informed Yemen Post that an oil pipeline was bombed by unknown gunmen.

The bombed oil pipeline was in Shubaika area (20 km north of Ataq city, Shabwa in the south. The explosion led to the leakage of large quantities of oil.

Government forces went to the scene immediately after the explosion took place. No suspects have been taken into custody yet.

No injuries were reported.
