The government and the Houthi Group signed on Sunday an explanatory extension to the executive timetable for implementing the 22 terms of the 2007 Qatar-brokered peace deal.
The signing took place in Qatar which is continuing its mediation between the two sides with the aim to contain the situation in the north. Qatari Premier Hamad Bin Jasim attended Sunday's signing and the signing of the timetable last Thursday.
The two sides agreed to complete the implementation of the deal terms and overcome challenges facing the peace process in Saada and Harf Sufyan District in Amran.
Yemen and Qatar agreed in July and this month during the visits of Qatari Emir and Prime Minister to Sana'a to activate the 2007 peace deal and the government and the group sent delegations to Doha over that.
