At least two people were killed and several others wounded in clashes between the tribe of Al-Saleh and Al-Mihriz in Modiah district of Abyan province in the south of Yemen, local sources told the Yemen Post.
The two people found dead after the clashes were named, Mamed Abdullah Musharraf of Al-Saleh tribe and Al-Khadir Grush of Al-Mihriz tribe, according to the same sources.
Tribal mediation succeeded to set a temporary truce and sign a permanent cease-fire between the two tribes, the same sources said.
Tribes generally take the law into their own hands due to the lack of a strong judicary system in Yemen.
