At least four people have been killed and other 10 injured in a bomb blast in Al-Majalah village of Abyan province in the south of Yemen, local media reported Wednesday.
According to the media reports, the blast took place at about 11:00 p.m. local time when a bomb went off in front of building inside Al-Majalah village, leaving a very big hole and sending a cloud of smoke into the air.
Police and rescue team have arrived at the scene shortly after the blast was reported.
“The wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source added.
Security services have already been informed and held responsible the people of the village to tighten the security themselves due to the shortage of police personnel to take care of each and every place in the volatile province, according to the same sources.
