A source in the Supreme Council for the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) told Yemen Post that the JMP decided in its meeting to form a panel of the Supreme Council in order to do to Sa’ada and inform the Houthis of the main points and details of the agreement of February 2009, signed between them and the General People’s Congress.
This comes after the Houthis declared that they will not participate in the panel of the national dialogue until the contents and the text of February agreement be clarified. They also want to ensure that the Sa’ada issue gets strong attention in the dialogue that takes place.
Hassan Zaid quoted (Saleh Habrah) a representative of Houthis saying that Houthis will determine their position based on their meeting with representatives of the JMP or the preparatory committee for national dialogue.

In related news, an official source in the Supreme Security Committee said that the followers of Houthi made several breaches since the issuance of the decision to stop military operations for the implementation of the six points and their operational mechanism, an independent source reported.
The source said, “these violations resulted in large numbers of death, wounded, kidnapped, cutting off roads, blowing up houses and looting their possessions.”
The source explained that the latest attacks was the blockade of Al-Za’laa military site in Harf Sufyan which resulted in the death of 12 people, 55 wounded and 228 kidnapped.
The source went on saying: “The High Security Commission holds the Houthis responsible for the consequences of those violations and serious crimes committed daily. Actions practiced by the rebels on the ground proves and confirms that they don’t want to implement the peace agreement to ensure that their dark projects.”
Today, Houthis have strong presence in Sa’ada, Harf Sufyan, and Jawf.
They also have moderate presence in Sana’a, Hajjah, Harath, and Kholan.
The government fears that if a new war takes place Houthis will only get stronger, especially that Saudi Arabia decided not to fund the Yemeni government anymore.
