The US ambassador in Sana'a, Stephen Seche, praised the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and the efforts of the Yemeni security systems in combating terrorism, sea piracy, controlling crime and maintaining security and stability.
The US ambassador met with the Interior Minister, Rashad Al-Masri, today to mark the end of his term in Yemen.
The ambassador praised the achievements of the security services of the tangible successes in fighting terrorism and facing the terrorist acts firmly, a government source reported.
The US ambassador was particularly impressed by the beauty of the old city of Sana'a and the unique geometric shapes, in addition to the historical monuments of Yemen.
The ambassador thanked the Yemeni government and the Yemeni people in terms of the good treatment and cooperation during his term in Yemen.
For his part, Al-Masri praised the efforts of the U.S. ambassador in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in the security field. Wishing him success in his new job and calling him to visit Yemen at any time.
The meeting was attended by the Legal Consultant at U.S. embassy in Sana'a.
