An explosion rocked on Tuesday the governmental complex in Jaw Province in northeast Yemen injuring three employees, media outlets reported.
Local sources were quoted as saying that a landmine went off in the yard of the complex at 10:00 am but circumstances of the incident remained unclear.
An investigation is underway.
Separately, an officer survived early today an assassination plot in Abyan Province; the fifth attempt targeting officers and officials in the province in two months.
Major Ali Khanbash barely survived being killed when he was at his home in the Kood area in Zunjbar city.
Eyewitnesses said gunmen knocked the door of the home, invited him to outside and starting firing on him. He came out safely but another man in the area was hurt.
The attackers who used machine guns ran away. The incident was the last in a series of assassinations and violence rocking the province amid rioting by the secessionist movement.
Three officers were assassinated last month, according to official reports.
The government accuses Al-Qaeda of being behind the violence and assassination attempts and sometimes the fans of the movement.
