Yemeni local sources said that at least ten Houthi militants were killed and several others were injured in clashes between pro-government armed tribesmen and Houthi rebels in Harf-Sufian of Amran province, northern Yemen.
The sources emphasized that the situation is expected to escalate between the two parties, especially that Houthis have blew up the house of a tribal leader, killing three of his followers.
For his part, Director of Harf-Sufian directorate, Hameed Al-Qaood, confirmed that the clashes between the tribes and Houthis are still ongoing in Alameshah area of Harf-Sufian.
However, he stated the following of militants from the Yemeni tribes to fight against Houthis, who announced their commitment with the six conditions, which were proclaimed by the Yemeni government for ceasefire, last February.
