Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi has urged the Yemeni authority on the release of Houthi detainees and to convert what he called the declaration of May 22 to the ground.
According to a press release issued by Houthis Information Bureau, the power is still waffling on the release of the detainees so far, reported media sources, have got a copy of the statement.
President Ali Abdullah Saleh has announced in a speech to the public marking the 20th anniversary of the Yemeni unity, a general pardon on the detainees pending on the events of Sa'ada war and the South as well as journalists.
In related news, Houthi’s press release indicated that for the third consecutive day, Ibn Aziz continues blockading the road of Sa’ada-Sana'a, which confirms the involvement of the Authority in this work, which he described as a collective punishment for all the people of Sa’ada. However, he believes that the authority turned to be a blind eye on such criminal acts.
He added that the Committee in charge of the commitment of the six conditions set by the Yemeni government for cease-fire has not yet done any role that may re-open the road or condemn these acts of sabotage, according to the press release.
