The leadership of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) located in Yemen, after the Yemeni security authorities have tightened the noose, finally moved its military base temporarily to Somalia, reported Yemeni informed sources.
Sources close to the (AQAP) declared that between 15-20 Al-Qaeda members, including the leadership of the organization, have succeeded to leave the Yemeni territories during the past first half of March.
Their departure started through the coastal port of Al-Mukala, the capital city of Hadramout province, into the Somali territories. It is said that they left Yemen by some facilitates offered by some Foreign sides, which are unknown, added the sources.
The same sources said that Al-Qaeda leadership issued from it's temporarily headquarter in Somalia orders to the rest of its dormant cells, which are still in Yemen to suspend all of their activities and meetings until the end of June. so as the Yemeni security campaigns diminish, which directly target Al-Qaeda.
