Police in Yemen's capital of Sana'a have arrested a Jordanian national on charges of trading in human organs, the September website has reported.
Ramzi Khalil Abdullah Farah was held while preparing for traveling to Egypt with seven Yemeni victims, ages ranging between 20-45 years old. The people had planned to sell their organs in Egypt after Farah convinced them to do so and paid them, according to the website.
Police are investigating the national.
The Interior Ministry's Information Center also reported that he seduced Yemeni people to sell organs, mainly kidneys, and he also arranged for travel visas.
Earlier security sources said that police had arrested a number of people accused of trading in human organs.
