Two policemen were injured on Monday when unidentified people threw a bomb at a security patrol downtown Yemen's southern province of Dhale.
The incident took place after police dispersed a demonstration by the secessionist movement demanding the release of prisoners held in connection with the latest events in the city worst hit by rioting in recent years.
The demonstration took place on the southern prisoner day. Now, the movement holds regular protests on Monday and Thursday marking the southern prisoner's days.
Many bombings have shaken Dhale in recent months killing and inuring civilians and policemen as the city can't calm down.
In recent weeks, the government toughened security measures in it including imposing security cordons around many districts and raids on homes in search for terrorists and outlaws.
