Four people including three child refugees have been killed and five others injured when an explosive device went off at a market near the refugee camp of Almezraq in northern Yemen.
The accident took place when a man wanted to sell copper and steal quantities that included the device. The man had no idea about it, according to preliminary information about the explosion.
Another merchant in the area who wanted to buy the copper and steal was killed when he started to weigh the explosive.
The killed and injured children were students of those refugees sheltering in the camp. They were at break time when the explosion occurred.
Two of them have not been identified yet because their bodies were badly injured, the SEYAJ Organization for Childhood Protection said. It urged the local authorities and international organizations to speed dealing with the post-war affairs.
A number of people have been killed and injured in landmine explosions in Saada and Harf Sufyan district in neighboring Amran province since the ceasefire between the government and the Houthi group started last month.
