Air strikes by the government forces aimed at the Houthi rebels have resulted in killing at least 85 civilians including children at the Amran displaced camp located at the Adi area in the district of Harf Sufyan.
Eyewitnesses told the News Yemen that the first strike took place while the displaced were sleeping under trees and tents.
The bodies of 85 people have been recovered, with the eyewitnesses expecting the killed more than 85.
Another air strike hit the people as they tried to escape attacks at water circles.
The displaced in the area have been not reached by relief organizations due persistent confrontations between the army and the Houthi followers.
Earlier, the UN called on the two sides to provide safe routes to allow in aid for the affected people.
Official comments about the incidents are yet to appear.
