President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas is due to arrive in Yemen early next week for a visit during which he will hold talks on the latest developments in Palestine and the outcomes of his foreign trip, Saba reported.
Abbas will meet with President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Yemeni senior officials to discuss the bilateral relationship and efforts to heal the Palestinian rift.
The talks will also deal with obstacles facing Palestinian-Israeli peace, topped by Israeli settlement plans in the Palestinian occupied territories.
On the other hand, Eritrea's President Asaias Afworki will pay a visit to Yemen after the Eid to hold talks with President Saleh and Yemeni senior officials.
The Yemeni-Eritrean talks will focus on the bilateral relationship and the joint executive committee to meet to discuss a number of projects, first and foremost activating fishing between the two states.
The countries will also discuss the developments in the Horn of Africa, topped by the situation in Somalia and coordination between both states to reach reconciliation among Somali factions.
