Yemen's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed Ali Mohsen al-Ahwal and secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Rahman al-Attiyah met on Monday in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh.
The meeting thrashed out the situation in Yemen's northern province of Saada amid an expanded offensive against the Houthi rebels.
Al-Attiyah assured al-Ahwal the Arabian Gulf states support Yemen's unity and stability, saying Yemen's security is part of parcel of the states' security.
The meeting also dealt with cooperation aspects between Yemen and the Gulf states.
In the meantime, the conditions of the displaced camps are deteriorating with lack of basic services undermining the hope of the people.
Moreover, reports surfaced that the Saudi authorities refuse to cope with the displaced who reach Saudi territories.
Some displaced families who could reach Saudi lands on food told Al-Quds Newspaper that the Saudis held them and send them back to the Yemeni authorities.
Earlier the UN called on the Yemeni government and the Houthi rebels to provide safe routes to allow in aid for the war-affected people in northern Yemen.
