Though more than a million jobs have been lost and thousands were killed this year, Yemen has not seen anything yet.

The worse is nearing for Yemen as President Saleh will soon be forced to sign the Gulf Cooperative Council power transfer proposal.

With tense in the air and international pressure mounting, Yemenis are preparing for an era that they fear will be bloody and even worst than the first ten months of 2011.

The UN Security Council resolution will force Saleh to sign the proposal but will not be able to remove him from power easily.

Saleh will not leave power and will do anything in his ability to stay in control even if he signs the GCC proposal.

Tactics and strategies are now being planned by President Saleh to ensure that the power transfer signing only results in more ink on useless paper.

The GCC deal calls on Saleh to handover power to his vice president. Sadly, the current vice president is weak and fears the ruling family. His eyes are full of fear and worry though he tries to cover that by looking firm and using the anger approach.

With all this said, more attacks against innocent civilians will take place.

Assassinations on those who became a burden on any side will happen, especially as Yemen currently has no courts, police stations, and pubic security operating. Blood will be spilt and no one will investigate

Journalists will be targets and will face the wrath of power thirsty politicans and military leaders.

25 million Yemenis never expected the call for change and freedom to be this difficult.

Millions are not against Saleh as a person, but rather because he has not succeeded in helping Yemen take the next step towards prosperity.

It doesn’t help Saleh that those within his inner circle and involved in corruption and suspected to be the most corrupt in the country.

The world must help Yemenis for the sake of humanity before its too late.

Saleh will not handover power peacefully, not today and not in the future. He has been in power for 33 years and feels it is his right to rule and no one else should object.

Dear President Saleh, please, for the sake of Yemen, handover power that belongs to the people and not to you. It is time to retire and let the wheel of change continue against others in Yemen who must go along.

Saleh leaving power will only be the beginning of a long Yemeni revolution against all those who were involved in corruption and killing of innocent people.
