An explosives-laden car was detonated at the Police College in Yemen's capital city of Sanaa killing at least 26 and injuring tens of others.
The Interior Ministry said on its website the figure of casualties is expected to increase because some were injured badly.
"The casualties were students registering for the new academic year, but now the enrollment process has been suspended for a week," it elaborated.
Last year, two car bombs rammed into gates of the college killing and injuring scores.
Today's attack was the latest in a spate of bombings in Yemeni cities including Sanaa mostly targeting Houthi militants who seized the capital and power in September.
