Yemen has reported 13 deaths from the swine flu as the pandemic continues its surge with the confirmed cases at 921.
Most of the infected people, about 843, were said to have recovered, and the authorities said the deaths came due to late alert about the cases.
Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul Karim Ras'a said in a press conference in Sana'a that the dead came to hospitals after the fourth day of getting infected and had chronic diseases as well.
Yemen said earlier it would stop announcing individual H1N1-infected cases.
