According to the medical staff in change square Hodieda, at least 21 protesters were injured when pro government followers clashed with anti regime marchers.

The source said that most of the injuries were hits to the heads of marchers by batons and rocks.

Security forces dispersed both sides and were not involved in the clashes.

Marches have been growing in Yemen over the last two weeks after more than 50 day of anti regime protests.
