The main road between Sana'a and Jawf provinces was cut by tribesmen in Jawf province.
Local sources said that the tribesmen belonging to the head of real estate in Jawf, Sheikh Mabkhot Al-Araqi, created a checkpoint one kilometer away from the building of the province, prohibiting citizens from going in or out the province.
An official within the province told Yemen Post that this step came after the local council in Jawf refused to pay YR 500 million for a citizen who sold his own land to the province, to be used as the main building for the Education College.
On the other hand, armed men in Jawf province released at least four Saudi citizens after being kidnapped this morning in Khab district. Sources said that tribesmen from Al-Yatma area cut the road between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, after their citizen was killed by Saudi tribes in Najaran district. The tribesmen held 17 passports belonging to Saudi citizens.
